Job Overview:
Hanuma Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal Officer / Legal Associate to support the company’s legal operations related to property due diligence, land documentation, and civil legal matters. The role involves reviewing property documents, ensuring legal compliance, and providing legal opinions on land and infrastructure-related transactions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, good understanding of property and land laws, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualification
● LLB or LLM from a recognized university.
Experience
● Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice, preferably in property, land, or civil matters.
Language Requirement
● Telugu – Reading and Writing is Mandatory
Key Responsibilities
1. Property Due Diligence
● Conduct detailed legal due diligence of land and property documents.
● Verify title ownership, chain of documents, encumbrances, and property records.
● Ensure the legal validity of land transactions before acquisition or project execution.
2. Civil & Collateral Matters
● Handle civil-related legal matters related to land, property disputes, and contracts.
● Review and verify collateral property documents used for financial or project-related purposes.
● Coordinate with legal consultants, banks, and authorities when required.
3. Land Laws – Andhra Pradesh
● Demonstrate strong knowledge of land laws and regulations applicable in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
● Review land allotment documents, revenue records, registration documents, and government approvals.
● Ensure compliance with local land regulations and statutory requirements.
4. Legal Opinions
● Provide written legal opinions and reports on land titles and property matters.
● Support the management team with legal advice for land acquisition and property transactions.
● Highlight potential legal risks and suggest corrective measures.
5. Document Verification
● Scrutinize and verify key legal documents, including:
o Sale Deeds
o Gift Deeds
o Partition Deeds
o Encumbrance Certificates (EC)
o Pattadar Passbooks
o Layout approvals and government permissions
6. Legal Documentation
● Draft, review, and vet legal agreements, contracts, and property-related documentation.
● Ensure all legal documents comply with relevant laws and regulations.
● Maintain proper documentation and legal records for future reference.
