Part-Time Legal Advisor – Property & Real Estate

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Legal Advisor specialized in property and real estate laws to assist our organization in handling land, rental, lease, ownership, and regulatory compliance matters. The lawyer will advise on day-to-day property transactions, documentation, and dispute prevention/resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Legal Advisory:

• Vetting and drafting of property sale deeds, lease agreements, and MoUs.

• Conduct title verification and property due diligence.

• Guide on property registration, mutation, and stamp duty compliance.

• Assist in property tax matters, government approvals, and NOCs.

Dispute Management:

• Offer preventive advice to avoid property disputes.

• Represent or liaise on behalf of the company in local municipal or land revenue matters.

• Provide legal solutions in case of tenant, ownership, or encroachment disputes.

Regulatory & Documentation:

• Draft and review rental/lease contracts, property-related notices, and compliance letters.

• Ensure compliance with RERA, transfer of property laws, tenancy laws, and applicable local regulations.

Legal Representation (If Required):

• Coordinate with external counsels when litigation is unavoidable.

• Appear in property-related hearings if within scope.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• LLB degree from a recognized university; registered advocate in India.

• 3–7 years of experience in property-related legal matters.

• Sound knowledge of UP property laws, revenue codes, RERA, and civil law.

• Strong drafting, vetting, and negotiation skills.

• Must be based in or willing to visit Vrindavan/Mathura occasionally.

Engagement Scope:

• Part-time consulting (4–8 hours per week OR task-based engagement).

• Flexible working: available on-call for urgent requirements.

• Retainer or hourly billing structure negotiable.

• Practical experience in land acquisition, lease structuring, and ownership transfer processes.

• Understanding of hospitality, commercial, and residential property issues.

• Good communication in Hindi and English.
