We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Advocate to join our real estate business and take full ownership of all legal operations, documentation and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and will be responsible for managing property agreements, due diligence, litigation matters, regulatory filings and ensuring all transactions are legally sound.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review and negotiate real estate agreements including sale deeds, lease agreements, MOUs, development agreements and power of attorney documents.
• Conduct thorough legal due diligence for property acquisition, sale and lease transactions.
• Verify title ownership, land records and encumbrance certificates to ensure legal clarity.
• Liaise with government departments for property registration, stamp duty, mutation and compliance approvals.
• Handle all legal correspondence, notices and litigation related to the company’s real estate projects.
• Stay up to date with real estate laws, RERA guidelines and other relevant statutory changes.
• Represent the company before courts, tribunals and regulatory authorities if necessary.
• Maintain a legal repository of all contracts, approvals and case documents.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Master’s Degree (LLM) is an advantage.
• Must be a registered Advocate under the Bar Council of India.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in real estate legal operations.
• In-depth knowledge of property laws, contract law, RERA and local land regulations.
• Strong negotiation, drafting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
Preferred Attributes:
• Experience working with real estate developers, property consultants or law firms specializing in real estate.
• Strong communication skills and a business-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel for site visits or legal hearings when needed.
