Legal Associate Advocate

Legalmage LLP is looking for a motivated and responsible Junior Associate / Advocate to join our legal team. The candidate will assist in handling Cyber Crime and related legal matters, coordinate with Cyber Cells and authorities, and travel across India for case-related work, filings, follow-ups and resolution of matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and assist in Cyber Crime and related legal matters.

• Coordinate with Cyber Cells, Police Authorities and other relevant government authorities across India.

• Travel across India for cyber crime matters, including visits to Cyber Cells, Police Stations, courts, banks and other relevant authorities.

• Visit different cities/states for case follow-up, filing, document submission, investigation-related coordination and resolution of matters.

• Assist senior advocates in handling day-to-day case-related activities.

• Assist with court filings, e-filing and documentation.

• Conduct legal research and prepare case-related information.

• Maintain case files, records and important legal documents.

• Coordinate with clients, advocates, police authorities and other stakeholders.

• Attend court proceedings and assist in day-to-day case management.

• Follow up with authorities regarding complaints, applications, account-related cyber matters and other assigned cases.

• Provide regular updates to senior advocates/management regarding the progress of assigned matters.

• Perform other legal and case-support responsibilities assigned by senior advocates/management.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• LL.B. passed candidate.

• Must be enrolled with any State Bar Council.

• Basic to working knowledge of Cyber Law and Criminal Law.

• Sound understanding of legal procedures and court processes.

• Good legal research and communication skills.

• Good command over English.

Skills & Preferences

• Female candidates will be given priority.

• Candidate must be comfortable travelling across India for professional and cyber crime-related assignments.

• Travel-friendly mindset is essential.

• Ability to coordinate professionally with Cyber Cells, Police Authorities, Courts and other government departments.

• Knowledge of multiple languages will be an added advantage.

• Good computer and internet skills.

• Responsible, punctual, organised and willing to learn.

• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

• Flexible with working hours depending on court, travel and urgent cyber crime assignments.
