We are spearheading a high-stakes investigation and legal action regarding financial irregularities, public procurement fraud, and the operation of shell companies within central governments departments. This project involves direct litigation in the Bombay High Court to enforce transparency and accountability in public expenditure.

Available Roles

1. Legal Associate (Litigation): 1–2 years of experience in Writ Jurisdiction and Public Interest Litigation (PIL).

2. Legal Interns: Final year or pre-final year law students with a strong interest in RTI and Financial Laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Forensic Documentation: Analyzing GFR-22 (Asset Registers), Audit Reports, and GST data to identify financial mismatches.

• Drafting: Preparing Writ Petitions under Article 226, Rebuttals to CPIOs, and representations to the Board of Governors.

• Field Investigation: Conducting physical verifications of vendor addresses (e.g., Sakinaka industrial compounds) to identify "Ghost" or "Shell" entities.

• RTI Management: Streamlining and tracking 1000+ RTI applications across various central departments.

• CAG Audit Analysis & Action: Scrutinizing the Separate Audit Reports (SAR) and Audit Memos issued by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) for the last 5 years. Identifying unresolved "Audit Paras" related to procurement, civil works, and GFR violations to use as conclusive evidence in the High Court

Requirements

• Legal Mindset: Strong understanding of the RTI Act 2005, GFR 2017, and Administrative Law.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to spot "Red Flags" in vendor invoices and balance sheets.

• On-Ground Hustle: Willingness to visit industrial compounds and government offices for evidence collection.

• Language: Proficiency in English (Drafting) and Marathi/Hindi (Field interaction).
