Corporate Advocate – Typical Job Profile
Key Responsibilities:
Handle corporate legal matters, contracts, agreements, and documentation.
Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, vendor agreements, employment agreements, service agreements, MOUs, etc.
Advise management on legal risks and business decisions.
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, labour laws, GST, intellectual property, and other applicable regulations.
Handle legal notices, disputes, litigation, and coordination with external advocates/law firms.
Conduct legal research and provide opinions on business-related matters.
Review commercial transactions and identify potential legal risks.
Maintain legal records and documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments such as HR, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
