Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Advocate with 2 to6 years of practice in Civil, Criminal, Family, and DRT (Debt Recovery Tribunal) matters. The candidate will be responsible for handling cases independently, representing clients in court, and providing legal advice and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle litigation matters related to Civil, Criminal, Family, and DRT cases.
Represent clients before courts, tribunals, and other legal authorities.
Draft and review legal documents including petitions, affidavits, agreements, notices, and written statements.
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
Attend court hearings, arguments, and case follow-ups.
Liaise with clients to provide legal advice and case updates.
Coordinate with senior advocates, clients, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with legal procedures and timelines.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Civil, Criminal, Family, and DRT laws and procedures.
Excellent drafting and legal research skills.
Strong courtroom presence and argument skills.
Ability to handle multiple cases independently.
Good communication and client-handling abilities.
Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
Qualifications:
LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
Enrollment with the Bar Council.
Minimum 6 years of relevant litigation experience.
