Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Real Estate Advocate to handle legal matters related to property transactions, land acquisition, documentation, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Karnataka property laws and experience in real estate legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal due diligence for land and property transactions.
Verify and review property documents including title deeds, sale deeds, encumbrance certificates, and approvals.
Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements such as Sale Agreements, Joint Development Agreements (JDA), Lease Agreements, and MoUs.
Provide legal advice on land acquisition, property disputes, and compliance with local laws.
Liaise with government authorities, sub-registrar offices, and legal bodies for property registrations and approvals.
Handle litigation related to property disputes when required.
Ensure compliance with RERA, land revenue laws, and other applicable regulations.
Support the management team in legal risk assessment for property investments.
Required Qualifications:
LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
5–10 years of experience in real estate and property law.
Strong understanding of Karnataka land laws, RERA regulations, and property documentation.
Experience in title verification and land due diligence.
Skills Required:
Strong legal drafting and documentation skills.
Knowledge of property registration procedures in Karnataka.
Negotiation and legal advisory skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal cases.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Prior experience working with real estate developers or property consulting firms.
Familiarity with Bengaluru property market and regulatory procedures.
Good professional network with local authorities and legal professionals.
