Welder

• Weld and Fabricate:

  Join metal components using arc welding (stick/SMAW), MIG, or TIG processes to build structures, machinery, pipes, or repair parts. 

• Interpret Blueprints:

  Study and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders to understand project requirements. 

• Equipment Operation:

  Set up, operate, and maintain arc welding machines, power supplies, torches, grinders, and other tools. 

• Material Preparation:

  Clean, cut, and shape metal parts, ensuring joints are ready for welding. 

• Quality Control:

  Inspect welds for size, depth, fusion, and appearance, ensuring they meet standards. 

• Safety Compliance:

  Adhere to strict safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). 

• Position Welding:

  Weld in various orientations, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
