Helper Warden

Job Summary

The Hostel Warden is responsible for maintaining discipline, safety, cleanliness, and the overall well-being of students residing in the hostel. The Warden shall ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the hostel and compliance with institutional rules and regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Maintain discipline and monitor student behavior in the hostel.

2. Ensure the safety and security of all hostel students.

3. Monitor students' attendance, entry, and exit records.

4. Ensure students follow hostel rules, timings, and grooming standards.

5. Supervise the cleanliness and hygiene of hostel rooms, washrooms, and common areas.

6. Coordinate maintenance work related to electrical, plumbing, furniture, and other hostel facilities.

7. Monitor the quality and hygiene of food served in the hostel mess.

8. Handle student concerns and emergency situations promptly.

9. Maintain hostel records, leave registers, and visitor registers.

10. Conduct regular inspections of the hostel premises.

11. Submit reports to the Management whenever required.

12. Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.

• Experience in hostel administration will be preferred.

Required Skills

• Good communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to maintain discipline and manage students effectively.

• Basic administrative and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to handle emergencies responsibly.

The Hostel Warden shall ensure a safe, disciplined, and comfortable environment for all students residing in the hostel.

• It is a Full Time Labour/Helper job for candidates with 1 - 6+ years Experience.
