Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Welfare & Discipline

   • Maintain strict discipline and decorum in the hostel.

   • Monitor student behavior, address grievances, and counsel when necessary.

   • Ensure hostel rules and regulations are followed.

2. Safety & Security

   • Oversee student safety and implement emergency procedures.

   • Supervise hostel premises to prevent unauthorized access or activities.

   • Maintain records of resident students’ movements (in/out logs).

3. Administration & Maintenance

   • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and facility upkeep.

   • Report maintenance issues and follow up on resolution.

   • Manage hostel inventory (furniture, fixtures, supplies).

4. Coordination with Authorities

   • Liaise with parents, academic staff, and management for student-related matters.

   • Prepare reports on student attendance, discipline, and hostel operations.

5. Student Support

   • Be accessible to students for guidance or emergencies.

   • Foster a positive hostel culture through activities or mentoring.
