Tailor

We are looking to hire an experienced and skilled tailor to join our production team. The tailor will be responsible for constructing, altering, repairing, and fitting garments to meet design specifications and customer requirements. The ideal candidate should possess excellent sewing skills, strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of different fabrics and garment construction techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Take accurate body measurements and record customer specifications.

• Construct new garments based on patterns, sketches, or design ideas.

• Perform alterations and modifications on existing garments for improved fit and comfort.

• Repair garments by patching, sewing tears, or replacing zippers, buttons, hooks, or linings.

• Maintain garment style, proportion, and workmanship standards during alterations.

• Iron, press, and finish garments before delivery to customers.

• Collaborate with designers or production teams to achieve the desired final product.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
