Service Staff

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, well-groomed, and customer-focused Service Staff to join Charcoal Café, Safdarjung Enclave. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a polite and professional manner.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.

• Serve food and beverages according to café standards.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and other team members for timely order execution.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tables, service areas, and the overall outlet.

• Handle customer queries and resolve basic complaints professionally.

• Ensure proper table setup and timely clearing of tables.

• Inform customers about menu items, offers, and recommendations when required.

• Assist in maintaining proper service standards throughout the shift.

• Follow all hygiene, safety, and operational SOPs.

• Support the team in opening and closing duties.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Store Manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, QSR, or hospitality environment is preferred.

• Freshers with good communication and a positive attitude may also apply.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Well-groomed and presentable personality.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Team player with a responsible and service-oriented approach.

• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

• It is a Full Time Labour/Helper job for candidates with 0 - 2 years of experience.
