Packing Staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking:

  • Locate and pick products as per order slips or system instructions.

  • Ensure accuracy in product type, quantity, and quality.

• Scanning:

  • Scan items using handheld scanners or mobile terminals to update system records.

  • Ensure proper documentation and barcode reading for inventory tracking.

• Labelling:

  • Apply correct product or shipping labels to items or packages.

  • Ensure labels are legible and appropriately placed.

• Packing:

  • Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials.

  • Ensure packed goods are damage-free and meet shipping standards.

• Inventory Management:

  • Report stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages.

  • Assist in periodic stock counts and cycle counting.

• Health & Safety:

  • Follow all safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse.

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the working area.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10th Pass / High School Education.

• Prior experience in warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to read and understand order sheets or pick lists.

• Basic computer or scanning device literacy.

• Physically fit; capable of lifting and moving packages up to 25 kg.

• Willingness to work in shifts and weekends if required.

• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
