Loader/Unloader

Load and Unload Worker (Loader/Unloader) is responsible for physically moving goods into and out of transportation vehicles (trucks, containers) and warehouse storage. They ensure inventory accuracy, inspect for damages, and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workflow to keep supply chains moving. This role requires high physical stamina, ability to lift heavy items, and adherence to safety protocols. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Responsibilities

• Loading/Unloading: Manually moving cargo from shipping containers and trucks, or using tools like forklifts or pallet jacks.

• Inventory Inspection: Verifying products against shipping documents, checking for damage, and checking for proper labeling.

• Organizing Goods: Stacking, palletizing, and securing items in trailers to prevent damage during transit.

• Safety Compliance: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized loading bay, ensuring tools are in good condition, and following safety guidelines to prevent injury.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and identify accurate products and codes.
