A Loader/Unloader at a Flipkart logistics hub (mother hub, sorting center, or delivery hub) is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient physical handling of inbound and outbound shipments.

Job Title: Loader / Unloader (Warehouse Associate / Material Handler)
Department: Logistics & Supply Chain (Ekart / Flipkart Supply Chain Operations)
Work Location: Flipkart Warehouse / Mother Hub / Delivery Hub
Employment Type: Full-time / Shift-based (Day & Night shifts)
Key Responsibilities
Loading & Unloading: Unload inbound trucks, trailers, and delivery vans arriving at the hub; load outgoing line-haul trucks and delivery vehicles according to dispatch schedules.
Shipment Sorting & Movement: Move packages, cartons, and large items from docking bays to conveyor belts, staging zones, or storage bins using manual trolleys and hand pallet trucks (HPT).
Scanning & Verification: Coordinate with sorters and dock supervisors to ensure all bags and barcodes are scanned accurately during loading and unloading.
Damage Prevention: Handle fragile, electronic, and high-value packages with care, reporting any crushed, opened, or tampered boxes to the shift supervisor.
Palletizing & Stacking: Stack boxes securely in vehicles or storage racks using proper interlocking techniques to prevent transit shifting or collapse.
Safety & Housekeeping: Keep dock bays, ramps, and walking aisles clear of discarded cartons, plastic wrap, and hazards; adhere to safety gear protocols (safety shoes, gloves, reflective jackets).
