Loader/Unloader

The Loader / Unloader is responsible for safe handling, loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of grocery goods including pulses, rice, flour, and other FMCG products within the warehouse and delivery vehicles. The role requires physical strength, discipline, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from trucks, tempos, and delivery vehicles.

• Proper stacking of bags/cartons in warehouse as per item category.

• Assist in dispatch preparation as per invoice or delivery challan.

• Check quantity and condition of goods during loading/unloading.

• Handle heavy bags (25–50 kg) safely.

• Maintain cleanliness in loading/unloading area.

• Follow FIFO (First In First Out) method for stock movement.

• Support stock counting and physical verification when required.

• Report any damage, shortage, or leakage immediately to supervisor.

• Follow company discipline and safety rules strictly.

Skills Required

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.

• Basic understanding of stock handling.

• Ability to follow instructions properly.

• Honest, punctual, and hardworking.

• Teamwork attitude.
