Job Summary

The Laundry Helper assists in daily laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing garments/linens. The role ensures timely processing of laundry with proper hygiene, quality standards, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort incoming laundry by fabric type, color, and washing instructions

• Load and unload washing machines and dryers

• Assist in stain removal and basic washing techniques

• Fold, pack, and organize laundry items after processing

• Support ironing/pressing team during peak operations

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area

• Handle detergents, chemicals, and machines safely

• Report damaged garments, missing items, or machine issues

• Help maintain laundry inventory (detergents, linens, etc.)

• Follow safety protocols and company procedures

Required Skills & Abilities

• Basic understanding of laundry operations

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures

• Physically fit to lift, carry, and stand for long durations

• Time management and attention to detail

Experience

• Fresher or 1–2 years experience in laundry/hospitality (preferred but not mandatory)

Education

• Minimum 10th pass (preferred)

• It is a Full Time Labour/Helper job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
