Helper

We are looking for a Helper to join our team at Powernet Communications Private Limited. Your responsibility will be assisting contractors, operating heavy machinery and following all health and safety regulations at site. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for this position. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹10,000 - ₹16,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission FTTH/Broadband connections.

• Perform OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) laying, jointing, and splicing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve FTTH, broadband, and voice service complaints.

• Configure and install ONT/ONU, Wi-Fi routers, and networking devices.

• Test fiber links using appropriate testing equipment and ensure signal quality.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber networks.

• Coordinate with the NOC and OLT team to resolve network issues.

• Attend customer complaints within the defined SLA and ensure timely resolution.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding internet and Wi-Fi usage.

• Coordinate with field teams and vendors for installation and maintenance activities.

• Maintain installation, fault resolution, and service reports.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures during field work.

• Verify service quality before closing installation or complaint tickets.

• Maintain good customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 6 months - 3 years of experience. Candidates applying for the position must be at least 18 years of age. The role requires physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks to be performed in all weather. Dependability and timely attendance are essential.
