Primary Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Safely transport raw materials, precious metals (gold, platinum), and loose diamonds/gemstones between different manufacturing departments.
Workshop Assistance: Help skilled craftsmen (like polishers, casters, and setters) by fetching tools, cleaning equipment, and organizing the workspace.
Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the workshop floor, polish machines, and acid baths. Follow all safety guidelines while handling hazardous chemicals used for cleaning and casting.
Weighing & Documentation: Assist with weighing raw metals and counting pieces. Keep basic records of materials going in and out of the production line.
Packaging: Assist in the careful packaging, labeling, and storage of finished or semi-finished jewellery pieces.
