Job Description

Airport ground staff manage critical passenger and aircraft operations, including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and security compliance to ensure safe, on-time departures. They work on the terminal and ramp, delivering customer service, managing cargo, and solving issues for passengers, often in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPassenger Service: Handling check-ins, printing boarding passes, checking travel documents (passports/IDs), guiding passengers to gates, and assisting passengers with special needs (elderly, unaccompanied minors).Baggage Handling: Tagging luggage, scanning bags, ensuring luggage is loaded onto the correct flight, and managing lost/damaged baggage claims.Ramp/Tarmac Support: Directing aircraft to parking bays (marshalling), loading/unloading cargo, cleaning cabins, and restocking catering supplies.Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all operations adhere to airport security regulations and safety protocols.Customer Support: Resolving queries, handling flight changes, and assisting during delays.
