Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our furniture manufacturing team. The Fitter will be responsible for the assembly, fitting, and installation of furniture components as per design specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.

Perform fitting, alignment, drilling, and fixing of furniture parts (wood, metal, hardware, etc.).

Assemble furniture such as wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, beds, tables, and modular units.

Ensure accuracy in dimensions and finishing quality as per company standards.

Work closely with the carpentry, polishing, and installation teams.

Inspect finished products to ensure quality and functionality before dispatch.

Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness.

Follow all safety protocols and report any equipment faults or damages.

Assist in on-site furniture fitting or installation if required.

Requirements:

Education: ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Carpentry, or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a furniture fitter or assembly technician.

Good knowledge of hardware fittings, hinges, drawer channels, handles, and modular systems.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
