  • Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools

  • Read work orders to determine the type and quantity of items that need to be packaged

  • Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material

  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials to ensure conformance to specifications

  • Seal containers and materials using glues, fasteners, tape, and hand tools

  • Load finished packages into trucks, vans, and cars for delivery

  • Maintain records of packaged items

  • Keep workspace clean and organized to maintain safety and efficiency

  • Operate packaging machinery as required
