Key Roles & Responsibilities:
· Assist fabrication technicians and welders in day-to-day activities.
· Handle, move, and arrange raw materials, metal sheets, pipes, and components for fabrication work.
· Support in cutting, grinding, drilling, bending, and fitting of metal parts under supervision.
· Clean and prepare work areas, tools, and equipment before and after operations.
· Hold and position parts during welding, assembly, and fabrication processes.
· Perform basic tasks like deburring, polishing, and finishing fabricated components.
· Ensure safe handling of tools, machines, and sharp materials.
· Follow instructions given by supervisors/engineers in the fabrication section.
· Assist in maintaining proper storage and identification of fabricated parts.
· Adhere to company safety standards, PPE usage, and workplace cleanliness (5S practices).
· Report any defects, damages, or issues in tools/materials to the supervisor.
· Support in packing and shifting fabricated components to the next process (assembly/painting).
Required Qualifications & Skills;
· Minimum 10th / 12th pass (ITI in Fitter/Welder/Sheet Metal – preferred but not mandatory).
· Basic knowledge of tools, machines, and materials used in fabrication.
· Ability to handle raw materials, metal parts, and fabrication tools safely.
· Basic understanding of measurement tools (scale, tape, calipers).
· Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual work.
· Willingness to learn and follow instructions from seniors.
· Attention to detail in cleaning, finishing, and handling parts.
· Ability to work in a team and support skilled workers.
· Discipline in maintaining workplace safety, cleanliness, and order.
