Job Summary:
The Factory Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards within the factory premises. The role ensures a safe and healthy working environment by performing routine cleaning, waste disposal, and upkeep of work areas, machinery surroundings, and common spaces.
Sweep, mop, and clean factory floors, corridors, and work areas.
Dust and wipe down machinery surfaces (without interfering with operations).
Empty bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, wash areas, and staff common rooms.
Ensure proper handling and use of cleaning materials and chemicals.
Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety guidelines while cleaning around machines and production areas.
Report any maintenance or repair requirements to the supervisor.
Assist in maintaining a hygienic environment in compliance with company and legal standards.
Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (factory/industrial setting preferred).
Knowledge of cleaning practices, materials, and safety guidelines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks.
Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
