About the Role

Medicine Walla is looking for a responsible, customer-friendly and motivated Retail Pharmacist who has decent knowledge of medicines, can read prescriptions accurately, and is comfortable working with computers and MS Excel.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the business, improve customer service, and contribute to the pharmacy’s overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

● Read and understand doctors’ prescriptions accurately.

● Identify medicines, strengths, dosage forms and quantities.

● Dispense medicines safely and provide basic usage guidance within professional scope.

● Handle billing, sales entries and inventory using pharmacy software.

● Maintain stock records, monitor expiry dates and assist with purchase entries.

● Use MS Excel for stock tracking, reporting and daily operational tasks.

● Maintain proper records and ensure a clean, organised pharmacy.

● Assist customers professionally and help improve customer retention.

● Be flexible to assist with local medicine deliveries when required, with opportunities for performance-based incentives.

● Support business growth through responsible customer service and efficient store operations.

Requirements

● D.Pharm or B.Pharm with valid pharmacist registration, as applicable to the role.

● Decent knowledge of commonly prescribed medicines and prescription reading.

● Basic computer knowledge and working knowledge of MS Excel.

● Familiarity with pharmacy billing software such as MARG is an advantage.

● Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude.

● Honest, punctual, responsible and willing to learn.

● Willingness to support local deliveries when required, subject to agreed responsibilities and safety.
