Retail Pharmacist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Retail Salesman (Pharmacist) to manage day-to-day operations at our medical store. The ideal candidate must have experience in pharmacy retail, good communication skills, and strong knowledge of medicines and prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medicines as per doctor’s prescription accurately.

• Guide customers with correct dosage and usage of medicines.

• Maintain proper inventory and stock of medicines.

• Receive and check incoming stock from distributors.

• Handle billing and maintain records of cash and credit sales.

• Comply with all applicable drug laws and pharmacy regulations.

• Ensure proper storage conditions for medicines (cold storage, expiry, etc.).

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store.

• Communicate with doctors, patients, and vendors when required.

• Assist in managing expired products and timely returns.

• Stay updated with new medicines and medical products in the market.

Candidate Eligibility:

• Educational Qualification:
  Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institute.

• License Requirement:
  Must hold a valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate from the Haryana State Pharmacy Council or any recognized State Council.

• Experience:
  Minimum 1 year experience in a retail medical store preferred. Freshers with valid license may also apply.

• Age Limit:
  20 to 35 years (relaxable in deserving cases).

• Skills Required:

  • Basic knowledge of medicines and therapeutic uses

  • Billing and inventory handling

  • Customer service skills

  • Knowledge of computer and billing software (optional but preferred)

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Basic English or Hindi reading for prescriptions

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
