Role Overview:
Detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist with experience in agrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical laboratories. Skilled in analytical testing, method validation, and ensuring product quality in compliance with regulatory standards. Open to working in chemical manufacturing plant environments and supporting production quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer titrator, etc.
Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions, and volumetric analysis as per SOPs.
Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines.
Document test results, maintain lab records, and prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA).
Conduct stability studies and support method development/validation activities.
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results.
Support production team in troubleshooting quality-related issues in plant operations.
Perform calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free laboratory environment.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques
Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and ISO standards
Good documentation and data integrity practices
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Team collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field
Experience in agrochemical, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry QC labs
Exposure to plant operations or willingness to work in manufacturing environment
