Phlebotomist

We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team at Kartavya Healtheon Private Limited to assist in medical testing and dispensing medications. A phlebotomist is a trained healthcare professional who specializes in collecting blood samples for various purposes, including laboratory testing, blood donation, and research. They are also known as phlebotomy technicians or venipuncture technicians. 

Key Responsibilities of a Phlebotomist:

• Drawing blood:

  Phlebotomists use needles to draw blood from veins, a process known as venipuncture. 

• Preparing patients:

  They ensure patients are comfortable and relaxed, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns. 

• Ensuring safety:

  They follow strict protocols for sanitizing equipment and preventing infections, including using sterile needles and gloves. 

• Proper labeling:

  They accurately label blood samples to ensure they are properly identified for testing. 

• Sample handling:

  They handle blood samples with care, following proper storage and transport procedures to maintain sample integrity. 

• Assisting with other tasks:

  They may assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with various tasks related to blood sample collection and processing.
