What You'll Do:

As a Phlebotomist, Field Ops, you'll be responsible for providing essential mobile sample collection and rapid testing services to our customers and patients in Bangalore. Your key responsibilities will include:

 • Performing Sample Collection: Collecting blood samples from customers/patients using venipuncture or finger-stick methods, and conducting rapid testing of samples as required.

 • Ensuring Specimen Integrity: Maintaining the integrity of all specimens by strictly adhering to aseptic techniques and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).

 • Patient Identification: Accurately identifying patients and verifying their personal information by reviewing identity documents.

 • Specimen Preparation and Transportation: Preparing specimens for transportation, which includes accurately labeling vials and meticulously matching blood specimens to patients. Properly packaging each specimen according to outlined medical requisitions.

 • Record Keeping: Maintaining precise records of patient names, the volume of blood drawn, and diagnostic findings.

 • Equipment Management: Cleaning, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment used for drawing and testing blood specimens.

 • Patient Service: Delivering excellent patient service, answering patient questions, acting as a resource for patient information, and strengthening the relationship between the patient and our medical facility.

 • Travel: Being ready to travel extensively within Bangalore for collections.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomist who is passionate about patient care and possesses strong technical skills.

 • Experience: 3 to 10 years of work experience specifically in phlebotomy is mandatory. Experience in sample collection is essential.

 • Education: A DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) or BMLT (Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology) is required.

 • Skills & Knowledge:

   • Thorough knowledge of various medical tests and testing protocols.

   • Proficiency in handling patients with care and professionalism.

   • Expertise in preparing specimens for transportation, including accurate labeling and matching blood specimens to patients.

   • Knowledge of waste management protocols.

   • Good verbal and written communication skills.

   • Basic computer knowledge.

   • Strong understanding and practical experience with testing equipment.

 • Mobility: A valid driving license is a must, and candidates must be ready to travel extensively.
