Phlebotomist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team for Whitefield and Yelahanka Location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients accurately, safely, and efficiently, while ensuring a high standard of patient care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood and other biological samples from patients following proper protocols and safety procedures.

• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling of all samples.

• Maintain hygienic and sterile conditions during sample collection.

• Prepare, store, and transport collected samples to the laboratory for analysis.

• Record patient details, collection times, and test requirements accurately.

• Handle patients with care and empathy, minimizing discomfort and anxiety.

• Follow infection control and biohazard disposal guidelines strictly.

• Maintain inventory of collection materials and report shortages.

• Support laboratory technicians and pathologists as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma / Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a Phlebotomist in a hospital, diagnostic center, or home collection setup.

• Knowledge of standard phlebotomy techniques and infection control procedures.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
