Phlebotomist

We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team to assist in medical testing and dispensing medications. The role involves handling lab equipment, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients accurately and safely, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and timely transport to the laboratory. The role requires excellent patient interaction skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood, urine, and other biological samples from patients as per prescribed protocols.

• Verify patient identification and match specimens with lab requisition forms.

• Label and document samples accurately to ensure traceability.

• Maintain sterility and follow infection control and biohazard safety procedures.

• Handle and store samples properly before transport to the laboratory.

• Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of phlebotomy equipment.

• Provide compassionate and professional interaction with patients.

• Maintain daily collection records and update reports.

• Support laboratory staff in specimen processing when required.

• Follow all quality and compliance guidelines set by NABL / ISO standards.

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 6 months - 6+ years Experience.
