Phlebotomist - Home Collection

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join the SwasthaIndia team. The candidate will be responsible for visiting patients at their homes, collecting blood and other samples, ensuring proper handling, labeling, and transportation to the laboratory while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood sample collection (venipuncture and capillary) at patient homes.

• Collect other biological samples (e.g., urine, swabs) as required.

• Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, and documentation.

• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control at all times.

• Handle and transport specimens safely to the laboratory.

• Comfort patients (especially children, elderly, and anxious individuals) during the process.

• Maintain professional behavior and ensure timely home visits.

• Record and update patient data accurately in the system.

• Manage sample storage conditions as per protocols.

• Report any adverse events or issues to the supervisor promptly.
  Qualification & Experience:

  • DMLT / BMLT / Certified Phlebotomy Training from a recognized institute.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sample collection (home collection preferred).

  • Freshers with excellent skills may also apply.

  • Valid two-wheeler license (preferred).
    Additional Requirements:

    • Should be flexible with early morning or late evening collections as required.

    • Must have a smartphone for patient scheduling and reporting.

    • Knowledge of basic first aid is an advantage.
