Phlebotomist - Home Collection

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team for home blood collection and at our collection centre. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. *Key Responsibilities:*

- *Blood Collection:* Collect blood samples from patients at home or at the collection centre, following strict safety and hygiene protocols.

- *Patient Interaction:* Provide excellent patient care, explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort during blood collection.

- *Sample Handling:* Properly label, store, and transport blood samples to the laboratory, maintaining sample integrity and adhering to chain-of-custody procedures.

- *Documentation:* Accurately record patient information, collection details, and sample data in accordance with laboratory standards.

- *Safety and Hygiene:* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

- *Collaboration:* Work closely with laboratory staff, healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure seamless service delivery.

*Requirements:*

- *Qualifications:* Diploma or Certificate in Phlebotomy or a related field (e.g., nursing, medical laboratory technology).

- *Experience:* Previous experience in phlebotomy, preferably in a clinical or laboratory setting.

- *Certifications:* Phlebotomy certification (e.g., Certified Phlebotomy Technician) is desirable.

- *Skills:*

- Excellent venipuncture skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
