Phlebotomist - Home Collection

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Home Collection Phlebotomist to visit patients’ homes to collect blood samples and ensure accurate, safe and hygienic sample handling. Candidate must have strong phlebotomy skills, customer dealing skills and must maintain sample quality as per laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit patients’ homes for blood sample collection

• Ensure proper patient identification, labeling & order verification

• Maintain high hygiene protocol and safe sample handling

• Use proper vacutainers / syringes / anticoagulants as per test type

• Centrifuge samples if required (as per lab protocol)

• Ensure on-time sample drop to laboratory / hub

• Handle patients politely and professionally

• Maintain documentation, sample log sheets, barcode entries etc.

• Educate patients on pre-test preparation when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in phlebotomy (lab / hospital / diagnostics)

• Must have knowledge of vacutainers, micro collection, pediatric collection

• Familiar with pathology test sample type requirements

• Good communication skills & positive behaviour with patients

• Must have smartphone and ability to use lab apps for data entry

• Able to travel to different locations for collection

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 6 months - 6+ years Experience.
