Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Home Collection Phlebotomist to perform blood sample collection from patients at their homes. The role requires strong technical skills, punctuality, and excellent patient interaction abilities. The candidate will ensure accurate sample collection, proper labeling, and safe transportation to the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit patients’ homes for blood sample collection as per scheduled appointments.

• Verify patient identity and ensure proper consent before sample collection.

• Collect blood samples using safe and hygienic phlebotomy techniques.

• Label, pack, and transport samples to the laboratory within required timeframes.

• Maintain sample quality by following safety, hygiene, and storage guidelines.

• Handle basic documentation, billing, and reporting on mobile apps or forms.

• Ensure excellent patient care and maintain a professional attitude.

• Follow all infection control and safety protocols.

• Coordinate with the lab team for timely sample processing.

Skills & Requirements

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/MLT) or relevant certification.

• Proven experience in phlebotomy and home collection preferred.

• Knowledge of blood collection techniques, vacutainers, and safety procedures.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to travel locally and manage time efficiently.

• Must carry valid ID and maintain hygiene standards.

Work Conditions

• Field-based role with local travel for home collection.

• Early morning availability preferred.

• Must be comfortable using mobile apps for booking and reporting
