Job Description: Pharmacist (Retail Medical Store)

Location: Thane
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience: 1 to 2 Years

Job Responsibilities:

• Dispense medicines as per doctor’s prescriptions

• Verify prescriptions and ensure correct dosage and instructions

• Counsel customers on proper usage, storage, and side effects of medicines

• Manage inventory, stock levels, and expiry dates

• Maintain records as per Drug & Cosmetics Act and pharmacy regulations

• Handle billing and POS software

• Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of medicines

• Coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment

Requirements:

• D.Pharm / B.Pharm qualification

• Valid State Pharmacy Council registration (mandatory)

• 1–2 years of experience in a retail medical store

• Knowledge of Schedule H, H1 medicines

• Basic computer and billing software knowledge

• Good communication and customer-handling skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in chain pharmacy or standalone medical store

• Familiarity with inventory and expiry management

• Patient-focused approach

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 6 months - 1 years of experience.
