Job Description: Pharmacist (Retail Medical Store)

Location: Thane
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience: 1 to 2 Years
Industry: Retail Medical / Pharmacy

Job Responsibilities:

Dispense medicines as per doctor’s prescriptions
Verify prescriptions and ensure correct dosage and instructions
Counsel customers on proper usage, storage, and side effects of medicines
Manage inventory, stock levels, and expiry dates
Maintain records as per Drug & Cosmetics Act and pharmacy regulations
Handle billing and POS software
Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of medicines
Coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment

Requirements:

D.Pharm / B.Pharm qualification
Valid State Pharmacy Council registration (mandatory)
1–2 years of experience in a retail medical store
Knowledge of Schedule H, H1 medicines
Basic computer and billing software knowledge
Good communication and customer-handling skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience in chain pharmacy or standalone medical store
Familiarity with inventory and expiry management
Patient-focused approach
