We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and pharmaceutical services.
Dispensing and Medication Management:
Review and accurately dispense prescriptions, verifying dosage, route, and frequency.
Monitor patient drug therapies and provide consultation to prevent adverse drug interactions, contraindications, and ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
Manage and maintain accurate inventory of prescription medications and over-the-counter (OTC) products.
Patient Consultation and Education:
Provide comprehensive drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding proper medication use, side effects, storage, and health management.
Administer immunizations (where certified and applicable) and participate in public health initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Oversee and maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to HIPAA guidelines.
Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and other support staff, ensuring daily operations are performed efficiently and safely.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care plans.
Resolve complex insurance and billing issues in a timely and professional manner.
Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.).
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of continuous experience as a licensed Pharmacist in a relevant setting (retail, hospital, or clinical).
Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in [State/Region Name].
