We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our hospitals ICU & Pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications, especially in critical care situations. Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately as per ICU doctors' prescriptions.
Review prescriptions for correctness, dosage, and potential interactions.
Coordinate with ICU staff to ensure timely delivery of life-saving drugs.
Counsel patients and/or caretakers on medication use when required.
Maintain and monitor pharmacy inventory, including emergency and high-alert drugs.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and pharmacy regulations.
Manage drug storage conditions, expiry dates, and documentation.
Support in handling audits, licensing requirements, and regulatory checks.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm).
Valid Pharmacy Registration Certificate.
6 months to 2 years of experience in a hospital or ICU pharmacy setting.
Sound knowledge of critical care drugs and emergency protocols.
Good communication skills and a patient-first approach.
Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced ICU environments.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with hospital pharmacy software.
Experience in critical care or emergency medication handling.
Team-oriented mindset with attention to accuracy and detail.
