Job Description – Pharmacist (Male)

Position: Pharmacist (Male Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescribed medicines accurately as per doctors' prescriptions.
Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Maintain pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry records.
Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory guidelines.
Provide medication counseling and usage instructions to patients.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication requirements.
Maintain pharmacy documentation and statutory records.
Follow NABH, hospital, and pharmacy compliance standards.
Handle emergency medication requirements during rotational shifts.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and smooth functioning of the pharmacy.
