Pharmacist

1. Medication Management

   • Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients.

   • Check for drug interactions and contraindications before dispensing.

   • Label medicines correctly with dosage instructions.

2. Inventory & Stock Control

   • Maintain proper stock of medicines and surgical items.

   • Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired drugs.

   • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

3. Compliance & Safety

   • Follow NABH and hospital protocols for storage and dispensing.

   • Maintain records of narcotic and restricted drugs as per legal requirements.

   • Ensure proper cold chain management for temperature-sensitive drugs.

4. Patient Counseling

   • Explain dosage, side effects, and usage instructions to patients.

   • Answer queries related to prescribed medication.

5. Coordination & Documentation

   • Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for any clarification.

   • Maintain prescription and billing records in the software.

   • Ensure timely indent raising for replenishment of stock.

Qualifications & Skills:

• D. Pharm / B. Pharm (Mandatory)

• Valid Pharmacy License

• Knowledge of ophthalmic medications preferred

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in hospital pharmacy software

Experience:

• 0–2 years (Freshers can apply)

• Experience in hospital pharmacy preferred
