4. Job Purpose:

To ensure safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications, maintain pharmacy inventory as per NABH standards, counsel patients on medication use, and support clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care.

5. Key Responsibilities:

A. Dispensing & Patient Care

• Dispense medications accurately as per prescription.

• Verify prescriptions for correctness, dosage, and potential interactions.

• Provide patient counselling regarding dosage, usage, precautions, and storage.

• Maintain patient medicine records as required.

B. Inventory & Store Management

• Maintain adequate stock levels of medicines and consumables.

• Ensure FIFO/FEFO method while issuing stock.

• Conduct daily / weekly / monthly stock checks as per NABH.

• Monitor expiry dates and quarantine near-expiry and rejected items.

• Coordinate medicine indents with purchase/administration.

C. Compliance & NABH Requirements

• Ensure adherence to NABH Pharmacy standards.

• Maintain proper documentation of all pharmacy activities.

• Ensure storage conditions as per guidelines (temperature, humidity).

• Maintain records of narcotic & schedule drugs as per H1 & NDPS regulations.

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 6 months - 1 years of experience.
