Job Role / Responsibilities:

Dispensing Medications:

Accurately fill prescriptions as prescribed by doctors.

Ensure proper dosage, route, and duration of medications.

Patient Counseling:

Educate patients on how and when to take their medications.

Discuss potential side effects and interactions.

Medication Review:

Review prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and interactions.

Monitor patient records for any allergies or contraindications.

Inventory Management:

Manage stock levels of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.

Ensure storage conditions comply with safety regulations.

Regulatory Compliance:

Follow legal and ethical guidelines (e.g., controlled substances handling).

Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.

Collaboration with Healthcare Teams:

Work with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers.

Provide drug information and recommend alternatives when needed.

Public Health and Vaccinations:

Administer vaccines (in applicable regions).

Participate in public health initiatives (e.g., health screenings).

📘 Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)

License/registration from a national or regional pharmacy board
