Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately

  • Verify prescriptions from registered medical practitioners

  • Counsel customers on dosage, usage, side effects, and storage of medicines

  • Maintain proper records of medicines, invoices, and prescriptions

  • Ensure compliance with Drug & Cosmetic Act and pharmacy regulations

  • Monitor stock levels and place orders to avoid shortages or expiry

  • Maintain cleanliness and proper storage conditions in the pharmacy

  • Handle customer queries professionally and politely

  • Coordinate with doctors, suppliers, and store management when required
