Pharmacist

About the Role:

We are seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our digital pharmacy team. As part of an e-Pharmacy operation, you will play a critical role in verifying prescriptions, ensuring medication safety, providing virtual counseling, and supporting the seamless delivery of pharmaceutical care to customers online.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, interactions, and patient safety.

• Ensure all medications are dispensed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and e-pharmacy protocols.

• Provide teleconsultation and counseling to patients regarding proper medication use, side effects, storage, and adherence.

• Supervise order fulfillment, labeling, and packaging to ensure correct and timely delivery.

• Coordinate with doctors, telemedicine teams, and customer service for prescription clarifications or patient concerns.

• Maintain up-to-date inventory records and report shortages or stock issues.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of prescription and over-the-counter medications.

• Stay updated on new drugs, regulatory changes, and digital pharmacy trends.

• Support internal audits and quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D) degree.

• Valid state pharmacist license (as per local regulatory requirement).

• Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy; e-pharmacy experience is a strong plus.

• Strong understanding of drug interactions, dosage calculations, and digital prescription systems.

• Proficient in using pharmacy management software and CRM tools.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with online pharmacy operations, teleconsultation, and remote patient management.

• Knowledge of e-prescription platforms and HIPAA/data privacy compliance.

• Multilingual abilities (e.g., English, Hindi, regional languages).
