Key Responsibilities and Duties
Inventory Management: Receives, unpacks, and shelves medical supplies, performing regular physical inventory counts.
Stock Control: Monitors stock levels to prevent stock-outs, identifies items nearing expiration, and manages inventory rotation.
Logistics & Distribution: Prepares orders for distribution to departments, wards, or clinics and ensures proper packaging.
Storage & Safety: Maintains clean, organized, and secure storage areas, including monitoring temperature and humidity for cold-chain items.
Documentation: Updates inventory records, bin cards, and computerized systems with accurate data regarding received or issued items.
