Job Description

A pharmacist assistant plays a crucial role in supporting licensed pharmacists and ensuring customers receive the care they need. Their main responsibilities include:

- Patient Care: Labeling medications, providing medicines as per prescription, and counseling patients on correct usage, dosage, side effects, and storage of drugs.

- Inventory Management: Maintaining sufficient stock of essential, emergency, and life-saving drugs, monitoring and minimizing expiries, wastage, and pilferage of medicines.

- Administrative Tasks: Preparing prescription labels, answering pharmacy phones, and providing assistance, maintaining records, and performing intake duties for deliveries.

- Clinical Support: Participating in pharmacovigilance activities, reporting adverse drug reactions (ADRs), and collaborating with physicians to monitor and adjust patient medication regimens.

To become a pharmacist assistant in Rajasthan, you'll typically need:

- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

- Relevant experience (1-2 year or more, depending on the employer)
