Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to manage operations within our Experience Lab / Pathology Lab. The role involves performing diagnostic tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality standards, and delivering an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sample Collection & Handling

Collect blood, urine, and other biological samples following standard protocols
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transportation of samples
Maintain hygiene and infection control standards

2. Diagnostic Testing

Perform routine and specialized pathology tests (Hematology, Biochemistry, Serology, etc.)
Operate automated analyzers and laboratory instruments
Record and validate test results accurately

3. Quality Control & Compliance

Follow NABL/ISO guidelines and laboratory SOPs
Conduct internal quality checks and calibration of equipment
Ensure compliance with safety and biomedical waste disposal protocols

4. Patient Experience (Experience Lab Focus)

Provide a smooth and comfortable experience to patients
Explain basic test procedures and address patient concerns
Maintain professionalism and empathy during patient interactions

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain test records, logs, and reports accurately
Coordinate with doctors and front desk for report delivery
Ensure timely turnaround of test results

6. Equipment Maintenance

Regularly check and maintain lab instruments
Troubleshoot minor technical issues
Coordinate with service engineers when required
