Microbiologist

Job Summary:

Mecoson Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., a Finished Formulation Plant based in Surat, is hiring a Microbiologist with 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical microbiology. The role includes microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, water testing, and documentation as per GMP standards.

Key Responsibilities:    

• Conduct Water Testing (RO Water & Purified Water)     

• Perform Environmental Monitoring of manufacturing areas (settle plates, air sampling, swab tests)     

• Handle Microbial Limit Tests (MLT) and related microbiological analysis.  

• Maintain microbiology lab documentation, logs, and test records.        

• Support Validation Activities such as Area Qualification and Process Validation.    

• Ensure compliance with GMP and microbiological standards.        

• Assist QA during audits and regulatory inspections.

  Qualifications:

• Educational Background: M.Sc. (Microbiology / Biotechnology)

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical microbiology.

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
