Job Summary:

IQ Labs is looking for a skilled and responsible Microbiologist to join our team on a part-time basis. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring precise microbiological testing, maintaining quality standards, and supporting clinicians with reliable diagnostic insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological tests including culture, sensitivity, staining, and identification of microorganisms

• Ensure proper sample processing, labeling, and storage

• Analyze and validate test results with high accuracy

• Release reports within defined turnaround time (TAT)

• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and biosafety protocols

• Perform internal quality control (IQC) and assist in external quality assurance (EQAS)

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment

• Ensure compliance with NABL guidelines and documentation standards

• Coordinate with doctors and other departments for critical findings

Qualifications:

• Education: MD in Microbiology

• Experience: 1–3 years in a diagnostic lab or hospital (preferred)

• Freshers with strong practical exposure may also be considered

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong practical knowledge of microbiology techniques

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Familiarity with automated lab equipment and reporting systems (LIS)

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work independently in a part-time role

• It is a Part Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
